3 Extremely Important Anti-Abduction Tips

What would you do if you encountered someone who wanted to kidnap you?

Inaction and indecisiveness could cost you your life.

In this article you will discover 3 things you can do to save you from getting kidnapped.

Don’t Wait to Escape

As a general rule, as soon as someone tries to abduct you, try to escape, because once they get you into their car, your chances of escape get much harder.

And if they then manage to get you to where they want to take you, your chances of escape get harder still.

Of course, by being aware of your surroundings you will hopefully recognise potentially dangerous situations. And if you do feel threatened, take proactive steps such as telling an authority figure (like a security guard or the police).

Fight Back Hard

When trying to escape, don’t be afraid of hurting the assailant. Fight back as hard as possible, but it is a life threatening situation.

Who knows what this person plans to do with you. We’ve all heard the stories of people being abducted and kept in the basement for years. And that’s if you’re lucky enough to be kept alive.

Do not be concerned about the legal ramifications in situations like this. You can deal with that later. The important thing is to keep yourself alive.

Go after the target areas and fight as hard as you can, and if you have a weapon, use it.

Gather information and leave clues

If you are unable to escape at the beginning for whatever reason, gather information and leave clues.

When you're in a car or any other situation where it's evident that you're not going to be able to escape, become more docile and comply.

Concentrate on your surroundings. Even if you can’t see you can gather information about your captor(s) where you are and where you are going.

  • What are you able to hear?
  • What are you smelling?
  • Which way are you heading?
  • What is the vehicle's color?
  • How many people are you traveling with?

Even the most insignificant information may be beneficial.

Leaving evidence such as your hair and other things that can be linked to your DNA can be helpful. The authorities may be able to trace you with it and it can also be used as evidence in court.

Conclusion

Once you've been taken, your chances of escaping diminish rapidly.

Practice awareness and follow the general rule of trying to escape as early as possible. This will give you the best chance of long-term survival.
