The Survival Fitness Plan - Past, Present, and Future!

Discover about the Survival Fitness Plan as a business. Learn about how it started, where it is now, and what I hope for it to become in the future.

This article rounds off the introduction to the Survival Fitness Plan, and in it I want to tell you more about Survival Fitness Plan as a business.

You will discover how it started, where it is now, and what I hope for it to become in the future.

Nothing New

The Survival Fitness Plan is not a new company. I first started it about 5 years ago and it is still just a small business with less than 5 employees.

At the very start it was just me teaching self-defense to school groups, scouts, and sometimes adults. I didn’t have a dojo or anything. It was all practical seminar based. Back then it was called First Action Self-Defense.

Creating the Training Manuals

The first one that I ever wrote was a definite flop and it's not on sale anymore. So let's not talk about that.

My first ‘good’ book was the Survival Fitness training manual. It was basically all the flight subjects in one book. It was (and still is) a great book (you can still get a copy of it off Amazon), but not so good from a marketing perspective as it was not specific to any one subject.

So I split them it up and added more specific training to each subject, and these are the training manuals you can get today.

And that's basically where we are now... but it's just the beginning.

The Ultimate Dream

I have much bigger dreams for this Survival Fitness Plan thing beyond just training manuals, and hopefully, with your help, I can achieve them sooner than later.

I’m still trying to formulate exactly how I want it to go, but I've always had an end vision from the start, which is this…

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a place where people can come and just train in survival fitness activities every day?

And I don't mean like going to martial arts class every day, but just come and train like they do in a martial arts camp, except with all the Survival Fitness Plan subjects.

You could learn self-defense, parkour, survival swimming, and all the other fitness subjects in the morning, and then in the afternoon you’d be lighting fires, building shelters, picking locks, and more.

Actually, I had the idea to do this a long time ago, before the Survival Fitness Plan was ever created, but once I started going to the martial arts camps I really began to envision it more clearly.

So what will happen is that people can go whenever they want and they can learn every subject of the Survival Fitness Plan or have a choice to pick which ones they want.

For instance, if you're only interested in parkour, you can just do that. But for those that want to have the full experience, they can come and train every day for as long as they want.

So that's what I’m planning. To eventually have a Survival Fitness Plan Training Camp.

Hopefully within two or three years it will happen, even if it just starts with one or two of the subjects, and then as time goes by we can add more and more.

Most likely it's going to be in the Philippines, which I know is a bit far for the people from the United States and that side of the world, but that's how it is because that's where I live most of the time.

How to Start in the Survival Fitness Plan

There is no doubt that the Survival Fitness Plan covers many skill-sets, and by now you may be feeling about overwhelmed and asking yourself,

“Where do I start?”

Unless you have a specific inkling for one subject that you definitely like, for example, wilderness survival, then go start with that because that's what you're most interested in.

But if you don’t have a specific subject you are interested in, and truly want to learn it all, then my advice is to start with self-defense.

  • It can help you fight off attackers, or even just be less of a victim since knowing self-defense automatically breeds confidence and most assailants prey on the week.
  • It is easy to start training, even without equipment or people to train with. You can do it in your bedroom if you want!

Soon I hope to create a 30-day challenge (it may not be 30 days) where every day you will be taught a new self-defense lesson as well as incorporating fitness. There will be videos that you can watch and I will be guiding you every step of the way. By the end of it you will be able to continue training on your own.

Then, once you are good with the self-defense training, you can move on to parkour, and then the next subject, and then the next, and so on.

Even if you know which subject you want to learn first, e.g., wilderness survival, I'm hoping that once you finish that subject, you will want to learn all the other stuff also to give you the best chance of keeping yourself and your loved ones happy and safe.

My Goal for You

My goal would be that you learn all the Survival Fitness Plan skills so you have the best chance to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Although I am not a doomsday prepper, I have no doubt that the world is getting worse and worse as time goes by. .

War can start, the government can turn on you, and then there are the increasing natural disasters due to climate change.

It’s better to be prepared for these things and at the same time it is a fun way to keep fit.

Conclusion

This is the last article in your introduction to the Survival Fitness Plan. I hope you now have a better understanding of what the Survival Fitness Plan is all about and what you can expect from it both now and in the future.

Safe Training :)
