3 Self-Defense Moves that Require No Strength

Regardless of what all the “Martial Arts” say, strength DOES matter… But not all is lost. Here are 3 self-defense moves that will be effective no matter what the size difference.

Regardless of what all the “Martial Arts” say, strength DOES matter!

But not all is lost…

Effective self-defense techniques can help bridge that gap of size and strength.

And in this article, you will learn 3 of the best.

Zero Strength Self-Defense Vlog

Eye Gouge

Defending yourself using an eye gouge is a very effective close combat technique for self-defense.

All you have to do is poke your thumbs (or anything) into your attackers’ eyes.

It is a great anti-abduction technique if someone tries to carry you away by the waist. It hurts like hell and can do permanent damage to the eyes if you need it to.

One disadvantage is that it requires a bit more accuracy than other self-defense techniques (the eyes are a small target), but if you are able to do so, then take advantage of your position.

Groin Attack

Another classic self-defense technique is a groin attack.

A simple kick or knee to the groin can hurt a lot.

If you're in a bear hug or something similar, you can grab the groin and give it a twist.

Contrary to popular belief, hitting the groin is also effective on women.

Scream

Screaming is almost always the first thing you should do in a self-defense situation.

It requires no strength, is non-violent, and is perhaps one of the most effective self-defense techniques there is.

Remember, it is better to scream something specific in order to capture someone's attention, e.g., “Help, I am being abducted, I don’t know this person” as opposed to just “help.”

Conclusion

So there you have it, three of the best self-defense moves that require very little strength.

The most important thing and the best thing you can do for self-defense is to cultivate awareness.

Many situations can be avoided by being aware of your surroundings.
