3 Steps for a Successful Escape

If you're ever captured and ‘imprisoned’ your #1 goal will be to escape. It may seem impossible, but there are certain things you can do to give yourself the best chance. Discover 3 of them in this article.

Nowadays, there are more crimes than ever...

What would you do if you were captured and "imprisoned"?

Of course, you will want to escape... But how?

Here are three steps you can take to successfully escape.

Escape Steps Vlog

Gather

The first thing you need to do to facilitate a successful escape is to gather two things: information and resources.

To gather information, use all your senses. What you can see, hear, smell, etc.  Talk to guards and other prisoners to elicit useful information. Also, note the guards' patterns and weak points so you can use them to your advantage.

Resources include any items that you can get hold of that will be useful for your escape. Maps, weapons, survival items, etc.

Plan

Once you have enough information you will be able to plan your escape

Alternatively, you can make a plan first and gather the resources you need to carry it out.

Having a plan is good but you must be flexible with it. Unexpected problems will always arise and you need to be able to adapt in order to be successful.

Go

Opportunities for escape can present themselves at any time. This is why being prepared and planning an escape strategy is essential.

Gather all of the necessary items as soon as possible so you can go when the time comes.

Conclusion

Gather, plan, and go are the three steps for a successful escape, and there is a lot to learn from each of these steps.

Fortunately, you can learn everything you need in 'Evading and Escaping Capture'.

Safe training!
