Discover the best way to train in self-defense for maximum effectiveness!

And even better, this advice is also applicable to all Survival Fitness Plan subjects.

Correct Self-Defense Training Vlog

Train Often

As the saying goes, "practice makes perfect."

However, training often focuses more on improvement, so it is more accurate to say that "practice makes progress."

Remember that if you don't practice your skills, they will deteriorate.

It is recommended in the Survival Fitness Plan to train two to three times a week in a specific subject that you are interested in learning.

But for those who are dedicated and want to excel in something, train for at least two hours a day, five to six days a week.

Train for Technique and Fitness

Learning self-defense requires an understanding of techniques because it provides you a strategic advantage when fighting.

However, being physically fit also brings a significant benefit.

That is why fitness is just as important as learning the skills. A person that has the techniques but is very unfit will probably lose against a very fit person with no skills, just because the fit person is stronger and can last longer.

Train What Works

Lastly, practice what works for you.

You don't have to, nor should you, train in hundreds of techniques. Instead, pick a few that are most effective for you and train in them progressively and consistently.

Conclusion

Remember the major takeaway, 'Train it or lose it.'

It's your call.

Safe training!
