Do you practice combination attacks?

Next time you do, try out this effective three-strike self-defense combination sent in from your fellow reader Ben W.

With your raised hand, strike the eyes with fingers splayed.

Assuming you're in a passive fighting position, the first thing you should do is go to the side of your opponent with your hands raised and strike them in the eyes with your fingers.

This will give you enough time to aim for your next attack.

As your opponent’s head goes back in response, strike the exposed throat with a hammer blow.

Your opponent's head will go back in response to a finger strike, what you want to do next is smash him around the neck with a hammer fist.

This may seem difficult at first, but with practice, you’ll get the hang of it.

As your opponent’s head moves forward, hit their groin or kick the side of their knee.

As the head goes forward from the hammer fist, hit them hard in the groin or kick the side of the knee.

You can replace this third strike with a palm heel to the face if the second techniqueis unsuccessful and the neck is not exposed as anticipated.

Conclusion

As a whole, these strikes make a rather strong combination.

These three gross motor moves are simple and effective, but keep in mind that practice is still required.

The more you train for it, the better you will become.

And don’t forget, in aself-defense situation, don't hesitate to give your all.
