Creating an eco-friendly home is one of the best things you can do for creating a sustainable life.
An eco-friendly home (a.k.a. a green home) is a house designed to be environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Great post. I love reading posts that inspire people to be better for the planet. 7 years ago my husband and I purchased our home. It was over 30 years old. It had new upgrades in it although still need some work. We updated all appliances which include kitchen appliances, a/c unit (which broke on us), hot heater (again broke on us). 4 months ago we installed solar panels and updated all window to energy efficiency. Our last thing that needs to be done is a remodel of the master bathroom. This will update all plumbing or leaky faucets. I comment because these are not easy nor cheap fixes. However if you save money you can do it in steps. Like I said it has been 7 years and we are still at it. Again love your post..
Yes, like anything worth doing it takes time and commitment. Also, it will save you money in the long run.
I Love these ideas! After the most recent hurricanes we went through solar panels have been more and more on my mind! I think eco-friendly is awesome!
It’s definitely the way forward.
I do my best to keep the lights off when possible, not waste food, limit driving, etc. but these are all great tips!
Wow this is really cool and helpful. My hubby and I have been making some changes, starting with new appliances and windows. Slowly, we’ll get there 😉
That’s great. Good to see people taking action.
That’s a lot of categories to consider!! I am in a condo, so am a bit limited.. but started small, with eco-friendly lights and thermostat. Most recently we switched our shower head. One step at a time 🙂
Yes, there’s a lot to consider, but doing only one thing is 100x times better than doing nothing.
