Survival Fitness Plan Survival Climbing Training covers survival roping techniques as well as essential bouldering skills.
Survival roping techniques is the ability to use rope, without any other specialist equipment, to aid you in safer ascension and/or rappelling. It also covers the making of improvised rope.
Bouldering is climbing without the use of ropes or harnesses. It complements parkour extremely well and is also great for all-body toning and workout.

Bouldering is used as part of fight and flight training. You should practice general bouldering skills, speed, and endurance for AT LEAST 30 minutes a week.
These bouldering skills are taken directly from Sam Fury’s book Basic Rock Climbing.
Safety Note: Do not climb higher than you are confident to jump down. Consider using a crash mat.
The last three techniques are reserved for “no-other-option” survival situations. When practicing them ensure you take all the necessary precautions and care to ensure your safety.
You should refresh your survival roping skills AT LEAST two times a year.
