Did you know that you can find hygienic resources like soap in the wilderness?
Doing some research before visiting a place can be very helpful in identifying what types of plants you are looking for.
There are several soap plants used in various parts of the world.
Some of them also double as fish poison which will help you catch your next meal.
Use a daily head-to-toe check to ensure you are free from parasites such as leeches and ticks.
It will help to have a friend that checks areas you can't see.
Also, check for small cuts. You may not notice them but they still need to be cleaned and dressed or they may become infected.
Taking care of your teeth in the wild is a must-do!
Twigs and branches can be used to make an improvised toothbrush.
Combine them with some soap plants and a little water to clean your teeth.
There are my three hacks for staying clean in the outdoors. Gather soap plants, perform a head-to-toe scan, and brush your teeth.
If you're lucky enough to find a body of water nearby, you'll be able to collect supplies and bathe yourself, which isn’t 100% necessary but sure feels good!.
