How to Start Homesteading When You Feel Overwhelmed

There’s a lot to consider when homesteading and it is easy to get overwhelmed. In this article I share some techniques to reduce that feeling.

There’s a lot to consider when homesteading and it is easy to feel overwhelmed.

In this article, we'll look into how you can stop or at least reduce that feeling.

Actually, these tips can be applied to all aspects in life where you may feel overwhelmed.

How to Start Homesteading When Feeling Overwhelmed Vlog

Prioritize and Focus

The first thing you should do is make a list of everything you want to get done that day.

Decide what needs to be done first, then second, then third, and so on (if you even have more than one thing on your list).

Once your tasks are prioritized, work on the first one and concentrate solely on that task.

Ask for Help

There’s nothing wrong with asking for help.

No one can do it all, and nor should you.

Just like in the business world, there will always be something you aren't very good at and/or dislike.

Do the things you can/want to do, and outsource the rest.

Take a Time Out

When you work too hard without taking a break, you will start to become ineffective and are more likely to make mistakes.

In the homesteading world, these mistakes could cause injury or worse.

So be sure to take a break, clear your mind, and then return to your work.

Don’t feel guilty about it.

You'll end up getting more work done. Even though you're working less, you'll be more efficient at doing the tasks when you are working.

Conclusion

These three simple tips for coping with being overwhelmed can be applied to anything in life - including the Survival Fitness Plan.

Because the Survival Fitness Plan covers a lot of subjects you may be confused about how to go about learning them all.

My advice is don’t!

That’s right - don’t try to learn them all.

Instead, just choose one thing and focus on it.

Then, once you have a good grasp of it, move onto the next thing.
