3 A’s Vlog

Awareness

When you wander around unaware of your surroundings, such as when staring at your phone, you become an easy target.

When you are aware you not only look more confident (which makes you a harder target in the eyes of a criminal), but you will also be alerted to potentially dangerous situations before they happen

Assessment

Once you are aware of a potentially dangerous situation you need to assess it.

What things could happen, what can you use to your advantage, wheat are your disadvantages, etc.

The ultimate goal is to formulate a plan so you can act fast if needed.

Action

In order for a plan to work, action must be taken.

But if your initial escape plan fails, you need to be able to fight in order to protect yourself. That is why it is important that you know the basics of self-defense.

Conclusion

The three A's of self-defense are awareness, assessment, and action.

Learning self-defense techniques will help you act fast and fight back if things get out of hand.
